A Half Day Enrichment program designed to enhance and stimulate
education through hands-on,
multi-sensory learning.
At Starland, we believe learning through experience leads to enriched education. On a given day, your child will touch, create, design, experience, explore, manipulate, build, and discover as they realize their personal best. Kindergarten Krossroads is a twice weekly half-day enrichment program that will give your child the opportunity to expand their learning beyond the school day. Developed by experienced, certified teachers, Kindergarten Krossroads emphasizes creative thinking, academic skill development, and imagination to help Kindergarteners learn and grow in a dynamic and nurturing environment. Students will participate in a daily Academic Enrichment class where they will enjoy exploring thematic units through active hands-on activities. The curriculum will include reading, writing, scientific and mathematical concepts, Spanish language instruction, artistic expression, interactive play and field trips. Computer class and Fitness class will round out the day to give children the chance to express themselves and enjoy other Starland favorites with their peers. Kindergarten Krossroads is the perfect blend of learning and fun for the active Kindergartener! Kindergarten Krossroads is offered as a 2 day a week enrichment program. Students must enroll for both days. Starland encourages kindergarteners to enroll in additional Starland classes such as Dance, Art, Theater, and Music to round out their creative experience.
